Conty is available through Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons (BUA). To install:
- Launch Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons from the Ports menu.
- Navigate to the Developer Tools section.
- Select Conty and press Install.
- Once installed, Conty will be ready to use as a runtime layer for supported applications.
- After installation, supported add-ons and launchers will automatically use Conty in the background when needed.
- You do not need to manually run Conty—it's triggered automatically when launching compatible apps.
- If you develop or run your own tools, you can integrate them with Conty by modifying launch scripts to use its runtime environment.
- Environment Layer: Provides access to a full Linux runtime with newer libraries.
- Portable and Isolated: Conty runs independently from the host OS, minimizing conflicts.
- Shared GPU/Audio: Integrates with the system's hardware for seamless performance.
