¶ Emby Add-On Guide
Emby is a personal media server that automatically organizes your media into a rich, streaming-friendly interface. It supports local playback, remote streaming, user profiles, DLNA devices, and hardware-accelerated transcoding—perfect for turning your Batocera system into a media powerhouse.
¶ 📥 Installation
Emby is available via the Docker Menu in Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons (BUA):
- Launch Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons from the Ports menu.
- Open the Docker Menu.
- Select Emby and press Install.
- The container will launch automatically after installation.
¶ 🌐 Access
- Emby uses a dynamically assigned port, starting from
8096. - The exact port will appear in the terminal at the end of the installation.
- Open your browser and go to:
http://batocera.local:<assigned-port>
(replace<assigned-port>with the number shown during install)
