NVIDIAClocker is a GPU tuning utility designed for NVIDIA graphics cards. It allows you to view and adjust GPU clock speeds, power limits, and thermal thresholds directly from within Batocera—ideal for performance tuning or underclocking in fanless builds.
NVIDIAClocker is available through Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons (BUA). To install:
- Launch Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons from the Ports menu.
- Navigate to the Developer Tools section.
- Select NVIDIAClocker and press Install.
- Once installed, the tool will be available via the terminal for monitoring and configuration.
- After installation, open a terminal (SSH or local).
- Use the included script or commands to:
- View current GPU clocks, fan speed, and power draw.
- Apply new core/memory clocks or power limits.
- Any changes are temporary and will reset on reboot unless automated via a startup script.
- Core Clock: Adjust GPU core frequency to improve performance or reduce heat.
- Memory Clock: Fine-tune VRAM speed for specific workloads.
- Power Limit: Set power draw ceiling for thermal management.
- Fan Speed: Monitor or manually override fan behavior (if supported).
- Persistence Mode: Optionally enable to maintain clocks across sessions.
⚠️ Use with caution. Overclocking or undervolting can cause instability or damage hardware if misconfigured.

Solution |
| Settings reset after reboot |
Use a startup script to reapply your preferred settings. |
| Values not applying |
Ensure NVIDIA drivers are loaded and compatible. Try reloading the driver. |
| Fan speed not changing |
Some GPUs do not allow manual fan control via software. |
| Overheating or crashes |
Restore default values and monitor temperatures. |
