PeaZip is a free and open-source file archiver that supports over 180 formats, including ZIP, 7z, RAR, TAR, and more. It provides an intuitive interface for compressing, extracting, and managing archives—ideal for handling ROM packs, save backups, or general file management in Batocera.
¶ 📥 Installation
PeaZip is available through the Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons (BUA) system:
- Open Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons from the Ports menu.
- Navigate to the System Utilities section.
- Select PeaZip and press Install.
- Once installed, PeaZip will appear under F1 → Applications.

- Press F1 on your keyboard to open the Applications menu.
- Launch PeaZip from the list.
- Drag and drop files to compress them, or double-click archives to extract.
- Supports password protection, checksum tools, and split archives.

¶ 🛠️ Troubleshooting
