¶ Sunshine Add-On Guide
Sunshine is an open-source, self-hosted game streaming solution that enables users to stream games from Batocera to devices running Moonlight. It runs in the background and provides low-latency streaming capabilities.
¶ 📥 Installation
Sunshine is automatically installed and launched in the background when added via Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons (BUA). To install:
- Open Batocera Unofficial Add-Ons from the Ports menu.
- Browse the available add-ons and locate Sunshine.
- Select Install and wait for the installation to complete.
- Sunshine will run automatically in the background upon installation.
¶ 🔧 Setup Instructions
- Open a web browser either via Batocera or on another device.
- Navigate to:
https://YOUR-BATOCERA-IP:47990- Replace
YOUR-BATOCERA-IPwith the IP address of your Batocera machine. localhost will work if you open the browser on the same machine.

- Set up credentials for Sunshine.
- Link it with Moonlight by entering the PIN provided during pairing.
- Once linked, you can start streaming games from Batocera to Moonlight-supported devices.

¶ 🛠️ Troubleshooting
